OMG!
So I though Glenn was just exaggerating when he said the LACMA was big, but apparently he wasn't. Everything about the LACMA was big, even the elevator was big. This obviously was my first visit to the LACMA so I was prepared to soak in the experience. I think I chose an artwork from every section but if not ill be putting in extras from pieces I really liked anyways.
Me at the Entrance, I hope those bulbs are energy efficient
The Kentuckian was the first picture I saw that literally grab me and pulled me towards it. I couldn't help my self I love the colors and all that is going on with this picture.
This piece reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom would let me watch 101 Dalmatians (animated, when roger and anita get married)
It really didn't register in my head til later that was actually a mummy with that casket. It was crazy and a very surreal experience to know that that was actually around me
This piece was ok but what reallly gave it notice to me was the title of the painting.
When we were talking about prettier davids and I said that the giant's head wasn't to scale to a giant but glenn said goliath was just a really big abnormal human on one of the davids we were viewing, This is what I had in mind.
I love this piece the detail the history. Just everything about it.
Story of my life.
I don't see how this is considered art. Looks like something I can buy at Ikea.
now this is art. Giant billiards balls.
I like this piece it looks like an everyman. Goofy smile dosen't know what's going on, an everyman.
I just took an escalator higher than the one at disneyland. OMG scary!!!!!
GOOD STUFF I love corn flakes. but with sugar but that would make it Frosted Flakes. Right?
Looks like a Teddybear actually. But Charlie Manson would say DEATH!!!!
Now if I only knew how to read dance steps.....:(
This guy had really cool art but It was always repetitive one piece would always be in the piece next to it. Like I swear I saw the Incredible Hulk in all of his art works.
I was blown by how they kept the ballon inflated with the chain link fence going through it. I suspected cement but wasn't able to prove due to the fact I can't touch anything.
I hate tomato soup
I love this piece makes me think that no matter what you do nothing will ever be perfect. So just try as hard as you can and be happy with the results.
Wow, you took a lot of pictures in LACMA. Why did you hate tomato soup? Did you like to went to LACMA? I like your pictures in LACMA.
